Indoor Patients:

• Attendants and patients are advised to read the consent form carefully, understand the rules and regulation, then get admitted.

• Various steps followed in the treatment are:

• Admissions after brief history from patient/accompanying persons and general physical examination of the patient. Treatment will be started with tentative diagnosis.

• In the ward:

   

• Detailed work up of the patient is done, history from patients and significant others in the family.

• Relevant pathological investigation is done.

• Relevant pathological evaluation of the patient and psychometric test if required will be done.

• Treatment re-defined based on above findings and observation in the ward.

• Psychological intervention done along with the pharmacological treatment.

• Family counseling session will be taken, family and patient will be educated about the nature of illness, the treatment plan, duration of treatment, side effects which might occur and importance of regular follow-up.

• Role of maintenance and prophylactic is treatment, as required, will be explained.

• Discharged patients will be given discharge card having brief summary of illness, investigation reports and treatment given.
